Kouki (D=OUT): Solo Project

Kouki, vocalist of the band D = OUT, has embarked on a new solo project under the name "Hanamizakura Kouki" (花 見 桜 幸 樹) and it seems that the name was suggested by his friend Kiryuuin Shou, vocalist of GOLDEN BOMBER.

The melody of music have a  melancholy feeling and  it drift from "Mood Kayō",  lyrical singing influenced by Latin music  popular in the Showa-era.

Kouki's comment:
"I am very glad that people want to hear my singing. As I received a name from a friend I respect, I will be doing all I can to not embarass it. I'v decided to do this, so I will not be doing it half-heartedly, but with all I have. Please be kind to me."

Kouki has already announced a tour  from 10 January  through 16 February.
The first solo CD will be release on 18 February  , in three different types.
