Visual Kei band Poltergeist will lose their drummer Saya who’s currently recovering from his motorcycle accident.
Poltergeist will have a few lives in November and December but the most important live is probably the one at Shibuya O-WEST on December 25th. As you might know, their drummer Saya had a motorcycle accident in September. On November 9th he finally updated his blog again saying that he’s getting better and that he will try to perform at this Christmas live. But that live will also be his last one as band member.
After his accident Saya realized that being in a band and of course also having this accident caused his family a lot of trouble. He wants to show more respect for his parents and in his opinion that’s only possible if he leaves the music industry. Saya also states that he’s really thankful for all the warm-hearted messages. He will never forget all the people who gave him strength and who supported him.

And one more information: On December 5th the band’s new single “glider” will hit the stores. It will also be sold in advance at their live on November 24th. The single includes the lead track “glider” and the song “white world”.
