Altra triste notizia arriva nello stesso giorno in cui gli SCREW annunciano lo scioglimento, purtroppo infatti anche i girugamesh annunciano la fine delle attività
La band che ha fatto la storia del jrock per 12 anni e che ora è impegnato nel tour europeo, fa sapere che terrà il loro last live il 10 Luglio 2016 allo Zepp DiverCity.

Abbiamo dedicato tutto e fatto tutto il possibile per la band per questo lungo periodo di 12 anni.

A causa del vostro sostegno e incoraggiamento, abbiamo potuto camminare per 12 anni.

Another sad news comes the same day that SCREW announce the dissolution, unfortunately it also girugamesh announce the end of the activities
The band, that made the history of jrock for 12 years and who is now engaged in the European tour, made it known that it will hold their last live July 10, 2016 at Zepp DiverCity.

"girugamesh started from zero with hometown friends.
We’ve dedicated everything and done everything we could for the band for this long period of 12 years.
This is our honest feelings.
We had many encounters.  Friends, staffs and fans.
Because of your support and encouragement, we could walk for 12 years.
We will express our gratitude with our best performance at our final show!!"

Girugamesh: Canceled the tour dates in Ukraine

For the recent events that took place in Ukraine and that still does not seem to find resolution,  the band Girugamesh has decided to cancel the tour date in Kiev.

"Cancelation of girugamesh show in Kiev, Ukraine at Bingo Club

We regret to inform you that the girugamesh show at Bingo Club, Kiev schedule on May 23rd has been cancelled due to the current political situation in Kiev. We apologize to all fans for any inconveniences caused but the band hopes to visit Kiev in the future when the opportunity arises.

Girugamesh: Nii and Ryo are brothers!

Girugamesh's guitarist Nii and drummer Ryo are brothers! 

That's the exciting fact they've revealed today on their new twitter account.

The band has an official twitter account for a long time already but a new official account gained attention among fans. Today Nii and Ryo opened their "combined" account and already the name raised questions: brother_grgm. (https://twitter.com/brother_grgm )

Their first tweet said: “We’ve started a twitter account as brothers! Please treat us well! Big brother & Ryo.” Shortly after that they explained: “We’re really brothers related by blood. We've kept it a secret for the past 10 years.” Also bassist Shuu commented on this saying that after their 10th anniversary this would be a good time to finally reveal it. And that maybe now you’re looking at old interviews and other things in a different way.

There has been a small rumor about this for a few years but since the members never commented on it it wasn't taken too seriously and stayed rather unnoticed. Now Nii and Ryo confirmed it by themselves.

Girugamesh will once again go on a EU-tour, this time with 14 planned dates.

Girugamesh's first show in a year will be at SHIBUYA-AX. It was broadcast worldwide on YouTube live. Live viewings have been announced for Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, and Brazil.

Inquiries flooded in from all over the world, especially from Europe, where girugamesh visited three times in the past.

girugamesh wanted to respond to fans all over the world who were waiting for the restart of the band. They broadened their reach via internet, and a live worldwide broadcast was put into place.

GIRUGAMESH - Prepare for a redefinition of 'Girugamesh'

 

Since their performance at Hibiya Open Air Music Hall in October 2012,

girugamesh have continued to stay quiet without any further release announcements.

While speculations have been flying about, they stubbornly refused to take center stage.

A preview of absoluteØdecision will be released at 2013.07.22 (Mon)

Before the milestone of their 10th anniversary since their formation, the four of them re-examined girugamesh's music up to this point, to stretch and improve themselves, to a level of conflict and potentially violent collisions.

As a result, the thoroughly examined sound, contains the strong initial impulse at its roots, follows the many different sounds pursued up until now, while causing a transformation that needs to be shown on a new stage.

JROCK EVOLUTION 2012 has toured several spots in Asia and successfully wrapped up by a final show in ZEPP Tokyo on November 3rd 2012 with the performances of all artists, D=OUT, SuG, Alice Nine, UNiTE, girugamesh, and MUCC.
