I Giorni del 23 e 24 Dicembre 2016 hanno rilasciato la loro prima canzone di Natale, durante il live al SAITAMA SUPER ARENA , dal titolo [HOLY KNIGHT].

Per  ciò che riguarda i live hanno in programma per il loro anniversario un live al NIPPON BUDOKAN il  29 Maggio 2017 inoltre per celebrare l'anniversario  dell'inaugurazione del fanclub SLAVE terranno un concerto ad Hong Kong, come prime date oltre oceano, dal 20 al 23 ottobre 2017. (info)

Sugizo inoltre a partecipato al congresso della camera dei rappresentati  dove si è parlato dello sviluppo delle celle a combustione di idrogeno anche nel campo dei live musicali e sarà realizzato per il concerto al Nippon Budokan il 29 Maggio dei LUNA SEA, come dimostrazione a provare il suono prodotto da queste celle di combustione.
Sugizo al riguardo a commentato dicendo che la qualità del suono è molto più alta di quella generata dell'energia elettrica. Il suono risulta meno degradato perchè è energia pura che non passa attraverso il filo.

Notizia che riguarda SUGIZO è la sua partecipazione come direttore della musica per il film "TOKYO DECIBEL" che è stato rilasciato nei teatri il 20 Maggio.
Il CD si intitola  TOKYO DECIBELS~ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK~ e contiene 5 tracce realizzate da SUGIZO. (info)

La band LUNA SEA è apparso nel set completo Deluxe Edition della brokker TOYS.
Ogni strumento, dalle chitarre al basso, dal microfono  alla batteria, è stato riprodotto in ogni dettaglio.
Le artist figure  dei LUNA SEA, alte 85mm, sono una limited edition e possono essere  pre-ordinate sul sito della brokker, gia da Settembre.

Inoltre  in CG è stato rilasciato la brokker versione del video musicale di [LIMIT] rilasciato a giugno 2016.

VISUAL JAPAN SUMMIT 2016 (UPDATE)

Quando  si incontrarono tempo fa Yoshiki, Sugizo e Takuro crearono molta curiosità nei fans ed ora è stata annunciata la realizzazione del VISUAL GIAPPONE SUMMIT 2016.

I fans di tutto il mondo sono affascinati dal rock visual kei del Giappone.

Attualmente un gran numero di festival si moltiplicano nel paese, ma 「VISUAL JAPAN SUMMIT 2016 Powered by Rakuten」è un grande evento che vuole superarsi.

Annunciano questo primo grande passo X JAPAN、LUNA SEA、GLAY che hanno realizzato questo sogno.  

In futuro, altre  dieci band di  artisti saranno annunciati in sequenza!

Il Visual Kei è nato circa 30 anni fa in Giappone.

L'obbiettivo è riunire le più grandi band visual kei attive nel mondo sotto lo stesso tetto per creare il più grande festival  di musica basato sul visual kei del Giappone.

La leggendaria della manifestazione "Extasy Summit" (che promuoveva le band dell'etichetta discografica) si è svolta per la prima volta nel 1988, e l'ultima  all' Osaka Castle Hall nel 1992 e dopo di quella a causa degli impegni che aumentarono non si è più tenuta ma dopo 24 anni sta per rivivere.

Al momento sono state rilasciate tre date dove insieme con X JAPAN, LUNA SEA e GLAY si alterneranno hide with Spread Beaver e Golden Bomber. (Sotto gli aggiornamenti)

Inoltre, ci potrebbero essere i piani per una visualizzazione live in patria e all'estero.

Per quanto riguarda PATA, il chitarrista dei X JAPAN,  aveva temporaneamente sospeso le sue attività in quanto ricoverato di emergenza nel gennaio di quest'anno, ma in questo festival si avrà la rinascita completa della band.

As for PATA, the guitarist of X JAPAN, had temporarily suspended its activities because inpatient emergency in January this year, but in this festival you will have the complete revival of the band.

Per commemorare il 25 ° anniversario della formazione LUNA SEA il 27 e 28 Giugno 2015 si sono tenuti due live al Makuhari Messe e ora la band rilascia LUNATIC FEST. OFFICIAL DOCUMENT BOOK .

LUNA SEA will release Full Orchestra  Album  "SYMPHONIC LUNA SEA -REBOOT-"
 on the 26 November.
The music of LUNA SEA is performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Ikuro Fujiwara.
The album was recorded on the 10th of September at the Katsushika Symphony Hills Mozart Hall.

 The band has announced their 25th Anniversary Live Tour, "THE LUNATIC ~ A Liberated Will ~"  . Included with the news of a Japan tour also came the announcement of the release of two special albums that will be released on May 28th , 2014, which include "LIVE & BEST"staging the ultimate premiere for LUNA SEA's anniversary year.

The first album 'The LIVE BEST ALBUM "NEVER SOLD OUT 2" After NEVER SOLD OUT' is a greatest live-track album from LUNA SEA which features "PROMISE," For JAPAN A Promise to The Brave 2012 in Sendai," and more. Disc 2 contains a live track of "THE ONE -crash to create-" for the first time. LUNA SEAs Vocalist and Music Producer Kawamura Ryuichi has decided to write the song for 

the" Happily Fotostudio" designed for children especially!

J (Luna Sea): Reveals "NEVER END" PV

Prior to release of an upcoming album “FREEDOM No.9”, J has streamed the new PV teaser “NEVER END”. The new PV will be available on Limited Edition version of a new album. A documentary film will be also included.

On September, 17th, he played 4 new songs from new “FREEDOM No.9”, while performing on stage at Daikan’yamaUNIT.
