PolterGeist: all members except Vocalist go in hiatus

Gt.Sou, Gt.Kousuke & Ba.Kiyuki of band Poltergeist will depart after their one-man live "Rebuild for newUNDER" at Ebisu club aim at 2015/01/29 and the band will be on hiatus and in plus Gt.Sou will retire for musical activities.

Only vocalist Mitsutaka remains but it is possible that it will suspend activities temporarily.

Poltergeist: New maxi single and new DVD

Poltergeist release their 9th Maxi Single "shoushin sweeper "(傷心スイーパー) for 2015.1.21 .

Poltergeist : Hakuya leaves the band

Poltergeist announced that drummer Hakuya will leave the band.

He pointed out that he has done everything he could do since joining in October 2013 and in order to go the next step he decided that he has to leave the band after the live on August 29th.

POLTERGEIST: NEW MEMBERS+BAND NAME CHANGE+NEW SINGLE RELEASE

They updated their OHP with a new look, also showing 3 new members,after the departure of Gt.瑞希 (Mizuki) and Ba.ユウ(Yuu) on July 19th. The new members are: Gt.興佑 (Kyousuke), Ba.キユキ (Kiyuki) (ex-VAJRA) and Dr.狛耶 (Hakuya) (ex-NightingeiL).

Furthermore they joined a new label called LIZARD NEO and changed their band name from "ポルターガイスト(Poltergeist)" to "polterGeist".

Also, they will release a new single titled "XIII Stairs" on December 18th.

Saya Leaving Poltergeist

Visual Kei band Poltergeist will lose their drummer Saya who’s currently recovering from his motorcycle accident.

Poltergeist will have a few lives in November and December but the most important live is probably the one at Shibuya O-WEST on December 25th. As you might know, their drummer Saya had a motorcycle accident in September. On November 9th he finally updated his blog again saying that he’s getting better and that he will try to perform at this Christmas live. But that live will also be his last one as band member.
After his accident Saya realized that being in a band and of course also having this accident caused his family a lot of trouble. He wants to show more respect for his parents and in his opinion that’s only possible if he leaves the music industry. Saya also states that he’s really thankful for all the warm-hearted messages. He will never forget all the people who gave him strength and who supported him.

And one more information: On December 5th the band’s new single “glider” will hit the stores. It will also be sold in advance at their live on November 24th. The single includes the lead track “glider” and the song “white world”.
