NIGHTMARE: Temporary Hiatus

Una notizia  che prende di sorpresa tutti i fans, i NIGHTMARE infatti hanno annunciato che andranno in pausa indefinita.

Questo avviene dopo gli ultimi 2  rilasci (singolo e best album) avvenuti il 23 marzo 2016.

L'annuncio è stato rilasciato su Twitter e sul sito ufficiale .

Le attività come Nightmare saranno sospese ma continueranno le attività soliste dei singoli membri, che verranno aggiornati di volta in volta.

Nel messaggio rilasciato dal cantante YOMI si legge inoltre che lui si prenderà una pausa per riprendersi dalla "disfonia funzionale"(disturbo alla voce qualitativa e/o quantitativa, temporanea o duratura, di origine strutturale o funzionale di uno o più organi coinvolti nella fonazione parlata. Tale alterazione può intendersi principalmente come difficoltà di controllare l'intonazione, la struttura timbrica, il volume o la qualità della voce. La disfonia può associarsi a dolore o fastidio mentre si parla.)  e che le cure gli prenderanno del tempo.

I ragazzi si scusano per l'annuncio improvviso ma si impegnano a finire le attività rimaste e promettono che torneranno più forti di prima.

A news that takes you by surprise all the fans, the fact NIGHTMARE have announced that they will pause indefinitely.

This comes after the last 2 releases (single and best album) occurred March 23, 2016.

The announcement was released on Twitter and on the official website.

Activities such as Nightmare will be suspended but will continue the solo activities of individual members, that will be updated from time to time.

In the message released by vocalist YOMI  states that he will take a break to recover from the "functional dysphonia" (disturbance to the qualitative voice and / or quantitative, temporary or permanent, structural or functional origin of one or more organs involved in the spoken speech . This alteration can be understood primarily as a difficulty to control the pitch, the structure of timbre, volume or voice quality. dysphonia may be associated with pain or discomfort while speaking.) and that the treatment will take time .

The guys apologize for the sudden announcement but are committed to finish the remaining activities and promise they will come back stronger than before.

Only 7 January was released the latest single "blur" and Nightmare already announced the release of a new album for 25 March.

It will be available in two versions: Type A and Type B (CD + DVD) and Type C (CD only).

NIGHTMARE: Reveals traclist of new single for a movie (update Spot)

"taboo" is a new single of Nightmare will be released as a single on June 25 and  is the movie's opening theme “DOREIKU BOKU TO 23NIN NO DOREI”.

On the official site of Nightmare  you can listen to the preview of the single: New Single「TABOO」.

Serving as the movie's ending theme is also another song by Nightmare called "Drastica" from their latest album “TO BE OR NOT TO BE”, out last March.

Drummer RUKA has this to say on writing "taboo":

"I read the novel, “DOREIKU BOKU TO 23NIN NO DOREI” before I wrote the lyrics to the song. It’s a taboo subject about putting people into submission. It’s about owning, being owned, changing, and the inability to change. I focused the theme and wrote lyrics about something “taboo”. I hope people can see the connection between the movie and the lyrics."

NIGHTMARE: HITSUGI on tour despite fractures

After the announcement of the accidents of the drummers of the band ViViD and Mejibray ( link)

there is news that even Hitsugi has had an accident.

The news comes from the official website of Nightmare, which says that Hitsugi had the same accident Meto (Mejibray) and reported broken bones.

This is comment of Hitsugi:

"First, I would like to apologize for causing everyone worry and trouble.

On 22nd I was having dinner with my friend Meto (MEJIBRAY), 

and after that we got in to a falling accident together.

We were taken to different hospitals immediately,

and I was diagnosed with broken bone in my back.

I didn't have pain and I could move, so I continued on with the tour as it was.

After I came back to Tokyo, I went to get myself checked again,

and I was diagnosed with 3 other broken bones, a total of 4 broken bones.

I talked with members, artist office and staff, and we decided to continue with the tour as it is.

I might not be able to move around the stage as much as usual, but please let me continue.

Also, I hope for Meto to get better soon and MEJIBRAY's tour to be continued."

SOLO PROJECTS OF NIGHTMARE MEMBERS ANNOUNCE NEW RELEASES

Members NIGHTMARE have started solo projects and announced that they will release CDs in October!

Guitarist Hitsugi's solo project "GREMLINS" will release their debut CD "The Carnival" in two types: Type A includes 3 songs and comes with a DVD. This version costs 2100 Yen. Type B includes 3 songs and costs 1575 Yen.

Drummer RUKA's solo project "The LEGENDARY SIX NINE" will release their first mini album titled "BELIAL". Type A including 5 songs and a DVD costs 2625 Yen, Type B including 6 songs costs 2100 Yen.

Both CDs will hit the stores on October 16th and three days later these bands will 

perform at Shibuya AX!
