Dir en grey: Kyo has been diagnosed with tonsillitis.

An urgent announcement was just made on DIR EN GREY’s Official Facebook.

It seems that vocalist Kyo has been diagnosed with tonsilitis and is currently being hospitalized in Tokyo. Their next show is on May 24th, but, depending on Kyo’s physical condition, the band may not be able to carry out the performance as scheduled.

"Following a medical examination after feeling sick and experiencing high fever, Kyo (Voice) has been diagnosed with tonsillitis.

Despite Kyo being adamant about carrying out the ”TOUR2013 TABULA RASA -揚羽ノ羽ノ夢ハ蛹-” show scheduled on 24.05.2013 at Shibuya Public Hall, a special LIVE show for those who purchased the limited order only MINI ALBUM “THE UNRAVELING”, he has been hospitalized for further treatment and rest.

At this time, the show is scheduled to take place as planned, however, under unavoidable circumstances we will make an announcement over our official website.
