NANIWA VKei Rengougun: 11 bands of Kansai join

Some Kansai-based bands announced that they've formed "NANIWA VKei Rengougun"  ( "Naniwa" is a part of Osaka, "VKei" is the abbreviation for "Visual Kei" and "rengougun" can be translated as "allied forces".) and will celebrate its formation with a live and an omibus album.

"NANIWA VKei Rengougun" are 11 bands: Crimson Shiva, Zin, tatoeba konna hanashi, BIOSPHIA, FEST VAINQUEUR, Minus Jin-say Orchestra, Lin -the end of corruption world-, LUCHe., the Raid., RevleZ and Royz. 

These 11 bands aren't from the same label and some of them aren't even based in Kansai anymore but that's where they've started their activities. 

On July 4th all bands will perform together at Osaka BIG CAT to create unforgettable memories and on June 25th these bands will release an omnibus album.

This album is "yougenkyou -WEST-" with new songs of the bands.

YOUTUBE'S NEW TERMS OF SERVICE, A THREAT TO JAPANESE MUSIC INDUSTRY

Lately there's this news and we will report the words found in a blog that is considered a reliable:

An undoubtedly disastrous hit for the international J-music fans will take place in near future. Youtube who is owned by Google is forcing indie artists to sign up for Youtube's new paid service, that is if they want to remain on the platform. Those who do not sign up and agree on the new Term of Service will most likely have their music videos blocked. This is all to embrace Youtube's new upcoming streaming service.

What this means for you and me is that finding (new) Japanese music will be a lot harder. Bands and artists will presumably also be discouraged to continue posting on Youtube. It's pretty bad as it is, now that big labels started to restrict their content outside Japan. We've seen this move from UVERworld and MUCC already.

I'm afraid to say that there isn't much anyone can do since Youtube have already signed deals with some of the major labels out there. The music industry has greatly expanded in this modern world of technology, and with the ease of access through our portable devices; Google does not only want a piece of the cake, they now want the whole thing. Making Android OS and Google Play Music service (to certain extend) free was no coincident.

"As YouTube prepares to roll out an ad-free streaming music service, it will block videos from indie artists who don't sign up for the new offering, as originally reported by Financial Times. YouTube has signed deals with the major labels, and is explicitly threatening to block artists from using the entire YouTube platform — free or paid —

if they do not agree to the terms of the new streaming service.

The FT quotes Robert Kyncl, YouTube’s head of content and business operations, confirming that the service plans to block videos from any artists or labels who have not signed on to its new paid service, "to ensure that all content on the platform is governed by its new contractual terms."" Hideto: Ex-Member of Amber Bullet, has Passed Away

there is a sad new: hideto, former member of Japanese band Amber Bullet, has passed away on June 18th.

 in January 2011 the bassist already took a break from live performances due to poor physical health. But we don't know if this is the cause for his death because  hasn't been revealed.

Three years after Amber Bullet's disbanding in April 2011 hideto, real name "Sakai Hidetoshi", joined a new project named "rarirurero" (ラリルレロ) and was active as bassist until his death.

Usually the family of the deceased artist decides to have a funeral in private but this time it's different. Also fans area allowed to come. The wake will take place as of today, 7pm, and the funeral on 21st at 1pm at Tear Gokiso in Nagoya

MIYAVI: Annouced Live Blu-ray/DVD release (Preview)

Miyavi announced during  his "SLAP THE WORLD TOUR 2014" at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo  that he will release a new Blu-ray/DVD of this tour.

 The release will be  in autumn and includes live scene and documentary of the tour which started on February 22nd in Malaysia. During this tour that lasted 4 months he played 40 shows in 14 countries.

Moi dix Mois: Confirms participation in Kubana Festival in Russia

We reported the participation of  Moi Dix Mois at Kubana Festival in Russia but with the sudden death of K, i live in  program of band were uncertain about their confirmation.

Now, directly from the blog of Mana-sama, comes the news that the 4 members of Moi Dix Mois take part in the festival as planned from the beginning.

Mana said that also K will  be present, with the sounds of his guitar built digitally, as if they were all 5 members present on stage.

We remember the date of this year of  Kubana Festival : 14 at 19 August, 2014.

Also seems that Mana-sama has finished the  song dedicated to K and that will be played for the first time at the Russian festival and during event will announce a possible European tour that could begin next year
After the month of August they have also planned a live in Japan.

Black Gene For the Next Scene: Release First Mini Album + Reveals Details on Upcoming Single

Visual Kei band Black Gene For the Next Scene announced the release of its first mini album and revealed details on the upcoming single "D.D.D".

 The band's first mini album will be titled "haioku no dance parade" (廃憶のdanceパレード) and will drop on October 29th. To commemorate this release BFN will go on one man tour that start at Takadanobaba AREA on November 1st and ends at LIQUIDROOM ebisu on January 4th, 2015. We have only a small info on the track list: it includes the band's previously released song "cynical wa-world" and the upcoming song "D.D.D".

Infact of the new single, "D.D.D" will drop on July 30th and now there are some details on the different releases. Here are the track lists:

SCANDAL: Release "Yoake no Ryuuseigun" Single

The single of SCANDAL , "Yoake no Ryuuseigun", will be   the theme song for the new Pokémon movie "Pokemon The Movie XY: Hakai no Mayu to Diansie", which is set open in theaters on the 19th of July.

"Yoake No Ryuuseigun" will be the band's 19th single and will go out on July 16th  , in 4 versions:

PENICILLIN  release ,on August 20, "Ruriiro no Providence THE LIVE"as a Blu-ray

The Blu-ray will feature the final show of "SPRING TOUR 2014 Ruriiro no Providence" held April 12 at Zepp DiverCity. This live is especially memorable because it marked the first time PENICILLIN performed with an orchestra during the first encore.

DAIGO: Voice actor for the anime of "Love Stage!!"

Kadokawa Anime Channel on YouTube has released the first promotional video anime adaptation of "Love Stage!!", inspired from the manga of love between boys, written by  Elki Elki and illustrated by Taishi Zaou.

From the official website of the anime comes the news that the cast of voice actors there will also be DAIGO, BREAKERZ's singer and younger brother of the writer of the manga Eiki Eiki, which will give voice to  Sena Shougo (the tall blond guy in the background).

Of cast are also Yonaga Tsubasa and Takuya Eguchi, respectively, in the title roles Ryoma Ichijo and Sena Izumi, Daisuke Hirakawa will be Sagara Rei, Ryutaro Okiayu will instead Seiya Sena, Sayaka Ohara will play Nagisa Yamamoto and  Kazutomi Sena will give voice to Kosuke Sotomura, the latter will also sing the ending theme "CLICK yOUR HEART!", while the opening song "LΦVEST" will be  by the SCREEN mode.

The broadcast on Japanese television networks Tokyo MX and  Sun TV is scheduled on July 9, in other stations broadcast the first episode will last until July 15 instead.

Ray℃ will go on hiatus after their mini one-man live "Naoya no hi" at Shinjuku RUIDO K4 on July 8th.

the reason of this decision is to dissolution of their label "VisualShock.JP",  release of their new single "Drew the Future / eternite" ( expected in June) and their live schedule after July 8th will be cancelled.

Vocal Aiku stated: "To be honest, I don't know yet what will happen next but I will give my best to bring good news for everyone."
