Infatti è stato deciso il lancio di un nuovo film in CG dal titolo “GHOST IN THE SHELL: THE MOVIE Virtual Reality Diver”, in cui Kaori si è prestata nel fare il motion capture a Motoko Kusanagi, la famosa protagonista di questa serie.

Ma le novità su questa nuova versione non finiscono qui!
Questo nuovo film non sarà rilasciato nei cinema ma, il 7 Aprile 2016,  il servizio VR THEATER lancerà il prodotto in 31 internet cafè della regione di Kanto, in Giappone.

Cosa è VR THEATER?
Con VR THEATER, gli utenti possono acquistare e godere di tutti i tipi di contenuti VR nei negozi. Esso combina piattaforma video HD a 360 ° "VR cruise"  e il sistema di pagamento di Interpia.
VR THEATER fornirà in-store esperienze VR per la prima volta in Giappone. Il sistema è progettato per essere introdotto in più spazi diversi da internet cafè in futuro.

Sembra sarà disponibile  in 3D a 360 ° di Realtà Virtuale su Youtube smartphone app ufficiale.
