GACKT presterà ancora una volta la sua voce per un nuovo anime intitolato [TRICKSTER - Ranpo Edogawa "detective boy corps"] (『TRICKSTER -江戸川乱歩「少年探偵団」) che verrà trasmesso da Ottobre 2016 su TOKYO MX, Yomiuri TV, in BS11 .
Inoltre come opening theme è stata scelta la canzone "Kimi Dake no Boku de Iru Kara” estratta dall'ultimo album 『LAST MOON』rilasciato da GACKT.
L'anime è ambientato nel 2030 e il corpo dei ragazzi detective è gestito dal misterioso Kogoro Akechi. Loro hanno portato grandi e piccoli casi alla soluzione grazie alla loro capacità innata di agire. Un giorno uno dei ragazzi Kensuke Hanazaki incontra un misterioso ragazzo Yoshio Kobayashi. Il ragazzo misterioso ha un corpo che "non può morire" con "una foschia non identificata" e desideroso della propria morte rifiutata di mettersi in contatto con gli altri.
Quale è l'interesse di Hanazaki nel ragazzo che lo invita nel gruppo?
Il loro incontro alla fine si aggroviglierà al destino del criminale Kaijin Nijuumensou (Il Demone con venti facce) e a Kogoro Akechi, che muoverà il destino delle due persone.
Parlando del personaggio Kaijin Nijuumensou (Il Demone con venti facce) a cui GACKT presterà la voce è il criminale di fama mondiale di cui non si conosce nazionalità, sesso o età. Nemico corpo dei ragazzi detective, spesso provocherà Akechi, ma mai ucciderà qualcuno con le proprie mani.
Proprio Il Demone con venti facce è una delle attrazioni di questo lavoro, grazie alla sua figura misteriosa e ammaliante ed alla voce seducente di Gackt.

The anime is set in 2030 and the body of the detective boys is run by the mysterious Kogoro Akechi. They have brought great and small cases to the solution thanks to their innate ability to act. The mysterious boy has a body that "can not die" with "a haze unidentified" and he eager of his death refused to get in touch with others.
