Il 6 Novembre a Rotterdam, nei Paesi Bassi, si è tenuta l'ultima edizione degli MTV Europe Music Awards, manifestazione musicale organizzata dall'omonima emittente televisiva.
In questa occasione gli ONE OK ROCK hanno ottenuto un premio di riconoscimento sul fronte degli artisti nipponici, riuscendo ad emergere tra Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Perfume, RADWIMPS e Shiina Ringo (gli altri artisti giapponesi in lizza)
I RADWIMPS hanno recentemente curato la colonna sonora del film "Your Name - Kimi no na wa di Makoto Shinkai", mentre il trio Perfume ha in precedenza interpretato il brano "FLASH" per il film "Chihayafuru Kami no Ku".
Mentre per gli ONE OK ROCK, la loro ultima canzone "Taking Off" è stata scelta come theme song del film "Museum con Shun Oguri", diretto da Keishi Otomo. Sempre con Otomo la band aveva già collaborato in occasione della trilogia di film live dedicati a Rurouni Kenshin, curando rispettivamente le theme "The Beginning", "Mighty Long Fall" e "Heartache".

The November 6 in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, was held the last edition of the MTV Europe Music Awards, the music event organized by the homonymous TV station.
On this occasion the ONE OK ROCK have obtained an award on the side of the Japanese artists, managing to emerge between Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Perfume, RADWIMPS and Shiina Ringo (The other Japanese artists in the running).
The RADWIMPS recently curated the soundtrack of the film Your Name - Kimi no na wa Makoto Shinkai, while the trio Perfume has previously interpreted the song "FLASH" for the film Chihayafuru Kami no Ku.
While for ONE OK ROCK, their last song "Taking Off" has been chosen as the theme song of the Museum films with Shun Oguri, directed by Keishi Otomo.Always with Otomo the band previously collaborated on the occasion of the live film trilogy devoted to Rurouni Kenshin, respectively treating the theme "The Beginning", "Mighty Long Fall" and "Heartache".
